in Net 10 Phones

The LG200C is a sleek and stylish flip phone that looks great and yet serves the purpose of being a phone quite well. Some of its positive features are:

  • It is a Single Rate phone charging 10¢ per minute for every call whether local, nationwide long distance or roaming. International calls to over 60 destinations 15 are available for just 15¢. Messaging charges are only 5¢ per message.
  • The phone is compact in its dimensions measuring 3.42 by 1.85 by 0.80 being not too small and not too bulky either, It weighs a mere 2.82 ounces or around 80 grams. Lightweight and portable.
  • The 128 x 128 pixel screen is clear and sharp and supports a range of 65 536 colours.
  • The Li-Ion mAh battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of talk time and an impressive 10 days of standby time. Another good thing about the battery is that it charges fast.
  • The menu is user friendly and easy to navigate, even for first time users.
  • The phonebook is impressive too and holds 300 entries. There is also the option of storing multiple numbers per contact.
  • The buttons are designed in a way that they are easy to use and arranged in a convenient manner.
  • The T9 texting option makes message typing a breeze. It is also very simple to change between the standard and T9 mode.

  • It also packs the option of voice commands and voice trains very easily.
  • The phone comes with the usual extras like Alarm, Calendar, Calculator, Stopwatch, World Clock, Notepad, Unit Converter, EZ Tip Calculator
  • It packs a nice bundle of games like Sudoku and Reversi.
  • The vibrating alert is pretty strong and the volume of the ringtone drops as soon as you open the flap. Another good measure to save battery life.
  • You can also go into flight mode and yet play games.
  • The phone also includes 25 polyphonic ringtones.
  • The phone is Hearing Aid Compatible rating M-3.

Some of the negative features of the LG 200C phone are:

  • The black outer covering easily takes on fingerprints and smudges and is difficult to clean.
  • The round shape makes it difficult to go in and come out of a cell phone holder.
  • No downloads are available even with Airtime Minutes so you can’t download your favourite ringtones.

All in all, the phone is a good choice for those who want functionality and durability. It is much better in features and functions, though, than its predecessor, the LG 3280.
